Hi-Cube has been the exclusive authorized Spacesaver distributor in B.C. Canada for over 32 years. Our long business relationship with Spacesaver, and the range of specialized storage solutions applicable to the BC market is a key contributor to our sales representatives success. We are looking to develop more specialists in identifying storage solutions for institutional clients such as Libraries, Art Galleries, Military and Armed Forces, Education, and Health Care by hiring and training additional Technical Sales Representatives for this manufacture’s line of products. Reporting to the Sales Manager, and collaborating with our designers, you will be responsible for collaborating with current and future clients, assessing project specs, creating quotes, and ensure project details are properly documented for submission to the Operations team for processing into orders. You will also provide direct oversite throughout a project to ensure it remains on target, budget, and fulfills the customers’ expectations. The ideal candidate will generate demand, interest, and excitement for Spacesaver product lines and related services, while creating a steady pipeline of business. Key Responsibilities

  • Update weekly reports with existing projects as well as prospected opportunities.
  • Execute and assist in driving sales and acquiring new leads and accounts.
  • Building and maintaining a strong relationship with new and existing accounts.
  • Proactively following up with clients to ensure needs are met.
  • Able to determine customer / contract needs to recommend the most appropriate solution(s) in a professional and timely manner.
  • Able to identify products and services to best suit customer needs.
  • Connect and build trust with customers to develop strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Help build a positive, diverse, and equitable work environment with other associates who are also a part of our fast-growing team.
  • Always deliver a strong and positive customer experience.
  • Participate in training on product lines to become a resource for our clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A University degree is an asset.
  • Experience in capital projects sales and oversite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be enthusiastic and enjoy working with customers.
  • Self-motivated, and self-directed in building long sales pipelines.
  • A drivers license and personal mode of transport.
  • Professional Oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software including TEAMS, Excel, and Outlook.
  • ERP software familiarity an asset.
  • Flexibility to manage various tasks in various stages of completion.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm resolve issues and build relationships.
