Cantilever Racking
Cantilever Racking SystemsCantilever racking is a multi-level storage system for long, bulky, or irregular-shaped materials. This type of racking system is ideal for storing lumber, engineered wood products, re-bar, metal roofing, pipes, and more. The shelving can handle any long-length materials that require unobstructed space without interference from upright support columns. It is rugged, durable, and perfect for use as a stand-alone unit in a warehouse or as outdoor covered storage.

How the System Works:
When used outdoors, cantilever racks provide more stability than selective or drive-in racks from the wind. They can be utilized to create 3-sided storage buildings when cladding and cladding support beams are added and are often used with roof support arms and roof cladding for material protection against the elements. Cantilever racking is easily assembled and modified when required and is the more economical option for lighter loads.
Benefits:
- Faster to load and unload due to no front column, which lowers handling time and costs.
- Flexibility, as loads can be placed anywhere along the entire length of a row and be immediately accessible.
- The lack of a front column saves horizontal space and results in a smaller footprint.
- Reduced handling times and increased space utilization means that cantilever racks are more cost-efficient.
- Racks are powder coated with durable and scratch-resistant paint that is designed to resist collisions and impacts of forklift trucks.
- Heights can go up to 30 feet with capacities up to 24,000 lbs.
